We are committed to delivering a positive impact outside of the physical boundaries of our Peddimore development. To do this, in 2018, we launched the £270,000 Peddimore Community Fund, to help to strengthen communities and social value impact in surrounding local areas.
Grants of up to £2,000 are awarded by the fund to support social welfare, health and well-being initiatives, sports or community projects or formal training and education programmes.
IM Properties have been revisiting some of the Peddimore Community Fund projects, managed by the Heart of England Community Foundation, to see the positive impact the grants which they’ve received are making. In our third visit, we caught up with Salus Fatigue Foundation, a charity set up to help people suffering from chronic fatigue. We spoke to Salus’ Founder Linda Jones, Project Development Lead, Jane Loewy, and one of the foundation’s members, Maggie Eggar, to find out about the important work the foundation does and how the grant which they were awarded by the fund has benefited them.
